I'm not sure what you really mean about "secure", but if you mean like if they give out your information and stuff like that, view their Privacy Policy

It secure as any other site can get. Their can be ways to breach security but you don't really have to worry about that.

Also, if you don't want to give out any info, don't. It your choice at giving out what you want and what not.

umm i think what you're asking is if it's safe for your mom to pay for your premium account by using her credit card online with Xanga's servers. when you click on the upgrade to premium and choose your payment option, i.e. by credit card, you will note at the top it will say "PAYING BY CREDIT CARD This information is processed on a secure server". also at the bottom of your browser it should show an icon of a small gold padlock which means that the Xanga server you are about to send your credit card information to uses 128 bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption to protect that data as it's being transmitted to their computers. 128 bit SSL is considered very strong encryption even by U.S. Government standards and is currently the industry standard in protecting data transmissions for computers all over the world. the cryptographic keys contained within them are virtually unbreakable. however, always remember though that 128 bit SSL only protects data as it's being transmitted. once the data is received and stored on a computer, that data is only as secure as that computer is.
