Do you have friends that you only talk to at work/school/whatever but never hang out outside of the place you usually see each other?
I had a lot of them during school and even though we both said we should hand out sometime after I graduate I know I will never see them again. lol |

I consider those people to be acquaintances or just casual friends. I've started distinguishing between those and actual, close friends ever since starting college.

Well i guess my way of reasoning is that I had a friend who was rather into a few drugs and drank a bit. She was a really nice girl and it was always fun talking to her. However i just knew it would be out of my place to hang out outside of school since i don't exactly do those things. She knew though and she never pushed me into anything.

yeah pretty much. i will talk to people i have classes with and then when i don't have class with them anymore.. we slowly drift apart. it was like that in high school and now it's like that in college as well.
