what did you take for granted until you couldnt have it anymore and then you were like "man, i should have appreciated it more" ?
i take air conditioning for granted. our air conditioning has been broken for the last few days and i have to take like... 5 showers a day because i keep sweating. it's gotten so bad i've been going to borders or the library instead of staying at home. f*cking texas and its f*cking hot summers. -_- |

yeah i agree with that, our air conditioner broke a few years ago in the middle of summer and it sucked.
i feel almost the same way with heat, but not to the same extent because it's a lot easier to burrow under a ton of blankets than it is to try to get cool imo. but our electricity was out for a week during an ice storm, so it was like 30 in the house and that sucked. that week showed me a lot of things i take for granted. being able to leave my house. having a working fridge to keep food in. microwaves. stoves. lights. having hot water to shower in. |
