I'm trying to get a new computer, since the one I have is not handling my everyday tasks as it usually does. The computer is pretty much kicking the bucket. |

Not really. The 9100 is a terrible chip. I hear it stutters on video playback.
Despite the ugly ricer case, this is probably the best deal for $600 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16883229172 If you're willing to spend a bit more and sacrifice 200 MHz on the CPU so you can have a less ugly case, there is this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16883227217 These are both good all around systems, will do video playback with ease, will do some gaming (not like Crysis maxed out or anything, but will perform well for most games that don't suck) will fly through 3D rendering or photoshop, etc. |

I really like the second one you linked me too. I don't do any gaming on computers, mostly going into Photoshop or video playback. I'll look into that one. Any other good ones you want to suggest?

This one has a quad core processor with good amounts of cache and a decent clock speed (both important for applications like photoshop and such), and a graphics card roughly on par with those used in the current-gen iMacs, and has what I know to be a great motherboard and fairly decent CPU |

Smart. |

I see you aren't trying to convince people to build there own anymore. Smart. I never try to convince people to build their own. If they don't feel they can then I respect that. Though OP, if you are willing to build, you can get a much better price by doing it, since you're not paying extra for the cost of building. |
