i don't agree with changing the name of the site or even starting a whole new one. it's called createblog because the main use of cB back in the day was mainly the xanga & blogger skins with the lounge (& etc.) being an added bonus!! Now the community center and cB as a whole have prosperred TREMENDOUSLY!

I know this is a double post... I've been back on cB for the past few days and i still see topics with my post as the last one...this is a problem. cB used to be so active that no topic was kept on the first page of each forum for more than a day unless it was a HOT TOPIC... The reason why cB is so inactive is becuas it's so big!!! There are too many forums. I remember the old Mods thought it would help "organize" the website and it has..but i think in the long run it's hurting the community. |

tbh i don't think that has much of anything to do with it. i think it's inactive because the lack of members here posting. we used to have a lot active and now we don't. we have like 10 members here posting at a time. so what if we had 3 forum areas? we would still have 10 members posting. imo the only thing it might do is give the illusion of more activity becasue there is less pages to fill up. which to me isn't the same as actual activity. that wouldn't address member numbers, post content, amount of replies posts get, how many new topics are being made, etc.
it sounds to me like a wishful quick fix. i'd be happy if something like that worked though. |

It might make new people more willing to post though. If I just came onto the site and saw the forum was this dead I wouldn't even bother. Just a thought though.
