I've been wondering this for a long time, and sorry if there's already a topic on this.. but..

Guys, do you want the girl to make the move (for the most part)?

EDIT//: "The move" as in.. asking out, kissing, hugging, holding hands, etc..

actually some guys are shy and some are more bold, so its a little hard to find the answer to that one. but im asking guy friends right now and we'll see how it goes.


question i asked: do guys like it better if the girls make the first move or the guy himself?

(reminder: these are all different guys)
here are some answers:
guy: "Honestly I like girls to make the first move on me"
guy:"i think some guy like it when the gurls make it"
guy:"girl....cuz guys are lazy"
guy:"for me id rather have the girl do it"
guy:"yeah" (the girl) in unison-
guy:"yeah" (the girl)

I would believe all guys would want the girl to make the first move, why? Because rejection sucks first of all, second its nerve racking, third its takes alot of confidence to make the first move, some confidence that the "average joe" lack.

Well... I know it sucks making the first move but eh u get the experience... and u mite become a better "ladies man" or u just become use to the fact of rejection u dont really care wut the answer will ne whistling.gif

For making the first move on holding hands and stuff, if the guy was shy, then I'd make a small gesture. Nothing bold. Not me... AT ALL.

im a female but i asked some guys and they said for the most part its really hott when girls do, guys are too lazy too so dont bother waiting for them too, and sometimes some girls are too domineering about it so no (1 guy said that)

im a girl and i would make the first move but girls are afraid of rejections too.. and what if ur just THINKING that he likes u? and wen u ask him out, he goes.. i dont feel that way.. lol all that courage and confidence in the girl will go down the drain

Hmn. If the the boy is a shy guy, I'd try hard and make first moves to open him up. But for the most part, I'd want the guy to make a move. Ofcourse, throw in a little hard to get. x]

Guys can ask out first but the rest, I prefer the girls do the first moves.
