Ender's Game. It was required reading before I entered engineering school. It wasn't that bad actually. It's worth checking out.

I read this fantasy book a while ago (Fires of Spring by Mary Mackey) and I think it was the first raunchy book I read. I had to skim through the racy parts (because I had a very tender mind ^^), but I loved the story. I couldn't put the book down for 5 hours.... I recommned it _smile.gif

The Abhorsen Trilogy by Garth Nix is pretty good; people that are able to visit the dead and bring people and animals back to life

Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson is an amazing novel. It deals with some pretty weighty topics revolving around government, capitalism, bicameralism (in pyschology), and memetics, but it's a fascinating read.

I liked the series The seventh Tower By: Garth Nix and Pendragon By: I forgot who that's by. Those books are really good series, well I enjoyed them.

KURT VONNEGUT IS THE BEST. Cat's Cradle, another book by him, is pretty awesome too.

I wouldn't say that Kurt Vonnegut is a very sci-fi writer, though...

The Artemis Fowl novels are pretty cool.

You should read Full Tilt by Neal Shusterman or the Series of Unfortunate Events books. Those are for younger kids, but I still think they're pretty good and fun to read.

Ahh! I wanted to read that. I've heard so many good things about that. Hmm science-fiction.. don't read much of it myself, but I do like Madeline L'engle's A Wrinkle in Time a whole lot.
