I see teenagers today only a few years younger than me who had the misfortune of being born into a decade of false depression built on the foundation of those who truly suffered. Mental instability has become the accepted populace in a world of pacified youth addicted to medicated acceptance. I see this and I know the end is near, who will be there to prevent it? Surely it is not this generation of whiners and dope-fiends, barely getting by on empty ambitions and selfish endeavors. The supports are not cracked, their toppled. The preventative measures meant to hinder urban decay have only fed into its rapid growth, like some kind of virus feeding on what it sees as societal weakness all pushed onward by the safety net of political correctness. The threat of racism or intolerance of any sort has mutated into a defensive shield, allowing corruption and evil to spread with this safeguard while our leaders twiddle their thumbs aimlessly.
Arrogance runs rampant in every city, town, and village; it has replaced intelligence and ambition creating a populace of controlled anarchy, in and of itself a contradiction.
