It's like 99.9% positive that Apple will release a tablet product today. What are your expectations of this rumored tablet?

I am hoping that it doesn't exceed the $1000 mark. I hope that it has over a 2.6Ghz processor. I hope that it's integrated graphics don't suck. I hope it has an internal media drive and a webcam. I'm hoping to buy one, if it doesn't have these things, which I consider the minimum, then they can forget it. haha.

I'm not sure what else they imagine covering for the rest of the event. I hope they don't make it boring with ipod touch games. -_-

Why? By a an itouch if you really want it. Its much cheeper and the ipad really is just a large itouch that's ridiculously expensive.

but the itouch is only limited of doing certain things compared to the ipad. there's nothing wrong with going for a bigger screen ( which is always a good thing for ipods ). my only problem like you said, is the weight of the ipad. i hope it's light.

BTW, iPad reminds me of this:

LOL thats what i thought when i first heard the name!

But Imo it looks like a giant I-touch (which it is right?) it seems like idk just not popular, like at first i thought it was some type of apple art tablet, which got me very excited, but then i realized it was just an oversized over priced i touch.

...wait is it an itouch lap top mix?

You can always try Advance Search, but I'll ask someone to move this topic together with the previous one.

well. its not like a computer if that's what some of you who want it are thinking. You can only run one thing at a time. Like an itouch.

I totally agree with this, the only major difference from the itouch or iphone is that there is ibook which is pretty cool, but they should have serious renamed the product to itab or something wtf is ipad?

Lack of multitasking is such deal breaker. Seriously?? Why would I want this if it doesn't even do much more than an iPhone/iPod Touch? There isn't even a gd camera.

To me it just seems like a higher tech. Kindle, and a blown up itouch.

That i-pad costs more than my Notebook

Let alone that Isee it hard like JC sayd if you already have an i-touch and/or having a lap-top
plus you can only use 1 app thing at a time

I think apple is against stylus.

I'm dissapointed in the processor speed. 1Ghz... really apple? No camera or media drive... you're killing me. Flash memory only, not expandable.. Compared to the price of a 32gb touch, it's only double the price.. I'm the type of person which thinks that the itouch is overpriced. I don't know where they get off saying this is better than a lot of netbooks, cause it doesn't have hardly any of the features of a netbook.

THIS, THIS, THIS, AND THIS.

Now, if it actually was a computer, then I'd SO get this. But it can't multi-task (WTF?), I can't DL Google Chrome, there's no camera, and the keyboard accessory looks scary shitty.

...but ngl, I'm totes waiting for version two.

Don't put too much stock in the clock speed. The iPad uses a fundamentally different processor than an Intel chip, and you can't really compare via raw clock speed across different processor architectures. Furthermore, software written for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad are specifically written with tight resource constraints in mind.
