i said that i'd keep it but, it the pain was too much i would just have the baby and have an open adoption that way my child knows that i gave birth to him or her but, those are your parents. with an open adoption everything is out in the open. never an abortion though...unless my life was in danger or something like that

i am strongly against abortion but in this case, i am for it if the girl feels as if she needs to because the memories haunt her and she couldn't bare raising a rapist's child. if it were me, i would abortion it. i couldn't deal with the pain and memories it brings. i would feel totally guilty for the child, but i couldn't raise someone's child who rape me. i know the child is innocent and has a right to live, but it wouldnt be developed till 4 mths. i also, as a female and it being my body have a right to choose and decide whether i want to keep the child as do other girls. you can't tell someone to have a baby when they're raped, your not them. you weren't in their shoes while they were being raped. i mean could anyone seriously put themselves in that situation. its different when you say you will do something when it happens and when it actually happens how you react is a whole different story. if i had the baby, i would want to keep it. i woud feel like i would need to keep it. if i gave it up for adoption, that child will grow up thinking i didnt love them and wonder why i gave them up. most adopted children are never really happy...they're wierdish, no offense to anyone but that's my opinion from what i've seen. most adopted children have mental, emotional problems once they find out. i would love the child because its apart of me, but i would also hate it because its apart of the rapist. therefore, its just much easier abortioning it and forgetting it never happened.

Yes, I deffinatly agree with the emergency contraception! Since i am against abortion and its so sad seeing children wander through different foster homes wondering what happened to their parents, and well...im not gonna keep some random persons child, or any child in high school...yes emergency contraception.

I think you should either adopt or keep it. I don't think abortion is right. You're killing a live human being. I think that would be a sin though. I would be worry for sure.

for all you people who say adoption i can say most kids after they r grown go to look for thier parents to find out why they were abandoned and so if one day they find you imagine you hearing your parents tell you they didnt want you and you were an acident.
but its a tricky thing cuze to keep a baby that you had while being raped, cuze when you see them evryday or w/e it reminds you of him and then once again telling the child you were raped and thats why they r there wouldnt be a good expreince and abortion , is also very tricky because its like muder but i guess it would be better than all the adoption centers flooding to where they have no money and have to stop caring for the people and to where they all are homeless and other situations. so what i say is if your against abortion go adopt a kid, and its a womens choice wether or not they want to and im not saying any of these are bad but .... |

I would put it up for adoption. I never supported abortion, but just recently i saw a pic of an aborted baby and it was SO SAD. I wouldn't keep it because I would want my baby to have a good life.

i dont believe in abortion.. but when it comes to rape and yuor young i say go for it.. or my mom said shed take care of it and raise it as her own until i mature enough.. lets jsut say, this has happened to me in my life before..

It really depends. Most people freak out and lose their minds. Some kill 'em. But, I'd put it up for adoption. I couldn't handle a baby.. especially if I got pregnant by someone I don't really know.

Adoption. Even though the embryo isn't legally considered a human being, it's still alive and has a heart beat!
I heard on Law and Order: SVU that it's standard procedure to give the rape victim the "morning after" pill to eliminate unwanted pregnancies. |

Im 13 but I would keep it. Because if I aborted it I would feel guilty later on. And if I put it up for adoption I would like to search for it later on or it will search for me and probably be all like "why did you not keep me!?"
