shift that top square a lil bit to the left...align it with the bottom one.
yea..a tad plain..but hey, simplicity aint a bad thing :D. |

I like the colors and the layout itself is nice.. a little plain maybe but nice. One thing I'd suggest is for you to make the navigation bar to be the same width as the blog area.

wow i love ur colors! that a great banner u have there. beautiful in a simple, elegant way...only critique is to move that navigation bar over to match the blog. so they line up.
