From Ars Technica:

QUOTE
As rumored, iTunes will also allow you to post updates to Twitter or Facebook about songs or movies you are watching.

Does anyone else think this feature is totally awesome? I often found myself disappointed on Facebook because I could only tell what my friends were listening to by reading the shitty pop lyrics they posted as status messages, but with this new feature, it'll be even easier for my friends to publish their shitty pop musical tastes online. And there was much rejoicing!

So every time you listen to a song and change it, Twitter or Facebook will make a post about what you're listening/watching to? I' hope there is an off switch to this, knowing that most of my friends flood their twitters with these type of messages.

I thought you could only use the facebook/twitter integration within the itunes store, as in to say, hey, look at this cool song..

Ooh that is pretty cool!

I'm most excited about being able to organize apps from the desktop though. Finally.

Yeah as if it wasn't bad enough that people flood their twitters with useless information from their tumblr sites.

I completely agree. If anyone's wondering why I'm posting similarly to this bitch above me, it's because I recognize her ability to scan the forums for posts that I'm missing. Some of these posts that she brings to my attention are truly great and I really enjoy reading them. They open my mind to things I wouldn't have thought about before or spread ideas from all different kinds of people around my head. I have everyone, the general population of createBlog (except this bitch Sandy), to thank :]

And damn it, they changed the interface again, so now there's a white background instead of the old black background. I wish someone would make something better than iTunes for Mac OS X.

Took a look. Not that much different from iTunes (it seems to mostly copy the UI). Plus, doesn't support video podcasts (at least, not last time I checked).

On another annoying note, they changed the action of the zoom button: it used to turn the window into the mini-player, and now it just...I dunno, resizes to fit content I guess.
