Tbh, I feel like CB's design focus is dying. The queue must be violently ill or something, 'cause there sure as hell aren't a lot of layouts being submitted and even fewer are making the front page.

I used to check every other day for inspiration, now I hit it up once a week, if that.

I completely agree... A while back there was a cool friendly group of us who constantly posted new layouts that were great. I used to be on here almost every day, trying to create layouts and upload them as soon as possible, had my own website too dedicated to sorting people out with resources, after a year I lost time and ended up stopping completely, and I know the same has happened to a few others.

try refreshing the page, it shouldnt look like the screenshot above. the new ad placement is to address an issue with some browsers where the drop down menu appear behind the ad.

Trust me, we've been trying to get Jusun to give Admins more power for years. He won't do it. I don't think anyone around here thinks that he cares about this place. Everyone in the community could agree that someone (or a few people) should have more power around here, but it won't happen. The current version of cb has been around for a long time and he still hasn't enabled the other forum skins... and there's nothing anyone else can do about it. It's kind of sad, we've made a list backstage of the things that need to get done and he'll stop by and do, at most, two things... things that are least important on the list.

Staff has already tried, and text messaged him (although I never got his number when I was on staff )

imo, he only keeps this place because it's benefiting him in some way (moneyz). Trust me, people have already tried the majority of the things you've brought up.

I can't even imagine he's getting much money off us anymore. For example, I use adblock and have never seen an advertisement on this website, other than when I first install the operating system. I'm sure others do the same. That's even worse for him if it's point per click and not point per impression. Another example is, this site is seeing it's lowest bandwidth usage ever.

It wouldn't work as well, no one here wants to spend the countless hours it probably took modifying the backend of cb, (the resources part). If we just used another site for forums it'd be pointless. People have tried to make other forums (sans-resources) they fail in the end, sadly.

SQL injections are easy as f*ck, they're the most basic of hacking.

But I doubt he could easily do that much with one.

haha, sql injections are possible. but not possible with createblog. You'd probably have to find an 0day to get into the root admin panel.
