Band layout problems, Problems when checking in other browsers Options

Hey everyone,

I used the A1Bassline's tutorial and created the following page: www.myspace.com/jdeicher

It's pretty close to what I want when viewed in Firefox, but we have all sorts of problems in IE:

-Gaps in the sliced masthead
-A blue semi-transparent background showing up from the left side (.PNG) part of the masthead
- The "Upcoming Shows" header being pushed down
- Spacing being different which causes things like the "about" section to be hidden under an overlap of the left margin background

I'm thinking I probably need to move the whole left margin further to the left to solve overlap problems but I'm worried that doing so will just bring other problems of showing the text that's hidden underneath.

How do you make it look as good as possible in both browsers (Safari's pretty close to the Firefox view)?

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Thanks for taking the time to check us out. Rather than putting a bio here, I thought I'd try telling it myself. My name is JD Eicher, and beyond my love for music, there isn't a whole lot of romance to the story. Unfortunately, I didn’t grow up in the wilderness playing handcrafted pan flutes, and I haven't hitchhiked around the globe writing poetry and painting houses. At a very young age, though, music was very much a part of me. As I began playing, guitar became a release – no matter the source of the stress. Eventually, I started writing my own material, and I began performing in groups and as a solo act. It was the solo act that always remained constant, though, and I kept releasing material, hoping to find my sound. Now I’ve found some musicians – affectionately known as “the Goodnights” – who are helping me get there. They're a great group of guys that share my passion, and it has been wonderful working with them so far. We hope you enjoy what you hear, and we truly appreciate your support. I think that, with music, the only thing more gratifying than playing for yourself is knowing that your work resounds with someone else.
