Moving on from Kanye for a bit, what did everyone think about the MJ tribute and Madonna's speech? I've read that her speech was very stiff. I'm not sure how I feel about it. There are parts when I feel like she is being sincere, but then some parts of her speech seemed really forced.
I thought that the dancing montage performance was nice, but pretty sloppy. I wonder if they didn't have enough time to rehearse, or maybe they became nervous or something. |

i dunno about you guys, but i saw the whole LIVE VMAS at 9 in EST. and kanye didn't come up during the show.. although i saw at the end around 11:20 that taylor came up again, and i had no clue why. i was like why is she coming up again? i found out after that mtv edited it out... WTF? how can do they that?

tbh i don't think there is all that much to say about the mj tribute. they danced. we talked about how that one dancer sucked. madonna was good enough to me. she put the disclaimer that she wasn't that close to him, so i think she did good.

Sorry, Rebecca, I scanned through and missed your post. Apparently nothing that interesting happened at the VMA's this year. I don't know why they still have the VMA's considering that MTV hasn't played a music video since, what, 2001? (Not including the AM crap videos they play between Proactive commercials.) |
