Ehh...I've never really used it but I heard it was alright. Some other good paid hosting sites are HostMonster and BlueHost. If you're wondering, I use FatCow to host my site since it's pretty cheap and it fits within my budget.
If you're looking for free hosting, you can always try FreeWebs, BraveHost, or 000WebHost.

I haven't used it in forever, but I think it's actually pretty good since I think it lets you use PHP and stuff. I know it's better than the other two though. :p

I've heard 000webhosting is a scam. I'd check out reviews on the Internet before I buy their services.
I'm hosted with CBD-hosting.net, their hosting has been pretty good so far, and they host for free, as long as the owner approves you. For domains, they offer Dreamhost Web Panel Unmetered Diskspace Unmetered Bandwidth Unlimited Sub Domains Unlimited Add on Domains Can put images on server Unlimited FTP Users Unlimited E-mail Addresses Quick installs (included in panel) Such as: Wordpress, Zenphoto, PhpBB, Drupal, Etc. Unlimited MySQL Databases Htaccess Access to the Members Area So much more located in the Web Panel Support by Owner The owner has always replied to emails and has been such a help, since I was a noob at building my site (: |

Yes, you can get a subdomain. Check out their site for more details. Quickest response was within the hour, slowest was maybe a day or two.

I would host your website, but at this point in time we are having some MySQL cluster issues, so your site wouldn't be functional if you are doing a blog or something that requires MySQL at this point in time.
It should be fixed within 20 minutes though if you're interested. I run my own server and stuff, so it's not like I have a hosting plan through GoDaddy or Dreamhost and I am just adding you as a sub domain. You get complete cPanel access and all that jazz. |
