Hey..
Well to get a dotted border around the sidebar and lining of the date section in your blog you would use this code:

CODE
<!-- begin code provided by createblog.com -->

<style type="text/css">
table.left {
/* change border to pref */
border: 1px dotted #000000;
}
div.blogheader, .caption {
/* adds border to the dates */
border: 1px solid #000000;
background: transparent;
}
</style>

<!-- end code provided by createblog.com -->

Remember you need to combine the codes if you have CSS style already...
Hope that helps _smile.gif

That "thingy" is a background image for each cell of a table. Maybe ask the user if you he/she could send it to you. Then you just need to find this part of your CSS and change it to:
CODE
<!-- begin code provided by createblog.com -->
table.left th {
background-color: transparent;
background-image: url(http://www.boomspeed.com/ballet4ever/modulebg1.jpg);
<!-- end code provided by createblog.com -->

*If you use this code, the background image will work, but I suggest you ask first before linking to the .jpg image.
