Going out as a family Options

Do you guys go out with your family (parents and siblings) to dinner or to the movies? My family and I go out when we can (it's pretty difficult because my grandma lives with us and we can't be out for a long time or walk too much otherwise her legs will start to bother her) and when we do it's pretty chill. I mean we're joking around and stuff but sometimes I get annoyed because my brother can act like a jerk, giving us attitude and acting like he doesn't want to be there. But I try and make the most of it because a lot of my friends don't really go out with their families. But, so do you go out with your family? Do you all get along?

i love going out to dinner and movies with my family. i don't enjoy it unless everyone goes. my mom tries to make lame excuses about staying home with my niece or having to do lesson plans. we always have a good time when we go out together. we sample each other's meals, share desserts, laugh, talk about stuff. it's good when we spend time like that. makes me feel warm and complacent.

I don't like going out to eat with my family.
My mother always has something to bitch about and if my dad makes one comment he gets pretty much shot down by my mom. So he dosent talk the hole dinner most of the time.. and pays for the bill while my mom talks up a storm about crap that doesnt matter at all.. random facts or about her work life.. Rather boring. I hate going on trips too.. thats the worst.. my mom always bitches about everything nice my dad does.. why bother going out to do something nice when it will just turn to shit because of my parents fail at communication or marriage.

I use to go out with my family a lot but now I don't really like going out with my family since my parents get tired walking around the mall or etc.
I like to go out and eat with my parents but most of the time it just ends in a argument about lecturing us. It's pretty annoying.

I like going to restaurants with my mother and siblings. My mom never complains about anything unless we ask her how her day was or something like that. I don't like it when my father goes with us because he likes to act like he knows everything, and he likes to eavesdrop on other people's conversations and then tell us in a very loud voice how stupid those people are. I hate going to the movies with my father because he always falls asleep early on and snores very loudly. It's really embarrassing. He's very rude, generally. I don't mind going with my mother and sister, though. :3 My brother likes to talk back to the screen and tell the people in the film how stupid they are.

My parents, siblings and I usually go out together at least once a week. Usually it goes just fine. I like family time, but sometimes there will be some mishaps that'll upset my parents or someone. My little brother's five so he throws fits sometimes, but besides that it's fun.

Since it's just me and my dad, family time is pretty much anytime we're home. Monday used to be the night we went out to eat together and then did grocery shopping, but now I work from 4 to 8, so they usually go by themselves.

My family and I go out to eat every Friday. I pretty much have to go, but I usually have fun. I love the food at the restaurants we go to and all of us typically get along. The sad thing is that my brother will be getting out of high school soon and will probably have other things to do, so it would just be my parents and me. I love the folks, but they only talk about workly things and my dad gets all cranky and irritating when he has just one measly beer. :/

I love spending time with my family. That sounds lame, but my brothers are so funny and my sister is crazy and entertaining. Now that I'm about to leave to college I'm savoring this summer with them. Ha, but we only go out to watch movies or the swimming pool. Usually we just sit at home and do funny stuff like all night long monopoly. Worth the loss of sleep. I wish I didn't have to work as much I could spend time with them more. :(

When I was younger the only family time we had was when we would eat dinner together. We will still get together and have dinner with my parents, minus one brother :( but it's not something planned. It's usually when my mom sends us a text message and tells us she's making dinner. My brother and I are both sarcastic, so when we're together we usually have everybody laughing. We don't really talk about serious things as a family, though.

The only time I see my extended family is during holidays. And that is... strange.

We don't really go out much since my parents are divorced, my mom's current boyfriend is working most of the time, my mom has to hang out around the house because of my baby sister, and my brother is lazy and can't even drive yet.

But if we do go out, we try to go to fun places like to a park or something. Sometimes, we go out to like Olive Garden and restaurants like that. We might even catch a movie or visit some friends. Most of the time though, I get to skate some pretty cool spots.

I hardly ever go out with my family...Only to restaurants, 2 or 3 times a month. My parents are too cheap to travel or try new restaurants. They complain a lot and sometimes argue. They like to save money and stay at home. So I go out with my friends and church buddies to the movies and theme parks...
