Limewire f*cking blows.

Use Bittorrent if you're going to be downloading illegally. Standard P2P sucks for illegal file sharing.

You know what's really odd about this is that they never go after big fish. It's never little Johnny who downloaded 5,000 torrents and got sued for millions of dollars. It's always some older person who only downloaded a few songs and is getting sued for millions. That's like filleting a blue gil. What a waste of f*cking time and tax payer money.

That's exactly what I'm talking about though. These companies are fishing for sunnies when they could be just as easily be catching sharks. What a waste of time.

and limewire now says "this song has no copyright protection on it, do you still want to download it?" and it gives you a Yes or No.

so there you go. either Dont get caught, or Dont do it at all.

its very simple.

The recording industry has blamed online piracy for declines in music sales, although other factors include the rise of legal music sales online, which emphasize buying individual tracks rather than full albums.

Because the general decline in creativity and good writing has NOTHING to do with declining music sales, I'm sure.

I love how she has to pay more now, because a judge f*cked up jury instructions.

You totally missed my point. I think that if the government cracked down on file sharing, it would help stimulate the economy tremendously.

In theory, mayyyybe. However, I think it's bullshit to blame declining album sales and p2p file sharing. LOTS of people buy music. The economy isn't failing because of file sharing.

I think it would help. Obama wanted to give money to companies, which would include adobe, and Microsoft! But there are so many people that illegally download photoshop, and Microsoft word, and windows xp, and if they had bought those products then those companies would have much more money, therefore lowering there prices, and making the economy stronger in those areas.

Well, I use iTunes, but I don't buy anything else except HD movies.
I never really trusted torrents or P2P file sharing. :/
