I'm really uptight about virtual memory. The only major program I'll leave running is Exaile.

I have noticed that if you open tons of tabs, it will raise the memory, but if you close all the tabs it keeps the memory at it's highest point. Also, what add ons do you have installed. My firefox was acting up and I uninstalled all add ons I dont need and it now uses 50 percent less memory.
