I know this is just like the recent topic, so you can merge them if you want. sad.gif

Well...I don't know how I have been living without this thing. Everything is 2 times faster. So freaking awesome. And im betterat drawing on the tablet then I am in real life. Everyone has to get one! best 70 bucks ever spent. It takes a little getting used to. Instead of moving the mouse then left it and making another movement it is absolute positioning. Anyone who has made divs would get this. If you hover the pen over the top right it will move the mouse to the top right of your screen. So when you need to get to the start menu you just move the pen over the bottom left. and the scroll wheel and shortcuts are extremely helpful! O and the pictures are very decieving, it isn't small. I mean it is but it is the perfect size. And the bamboo is a lot cooler looking then the bamboo fun. The bamboo fun comes with ps elements 3. Yuck. And corel essentials 4. Didnt need them. I still keep a mouse plugged in next to it though. Cause i'm sure i will need it at random times, like when using the pen tool in ps and what not.

O and even thoughtthe bamboo doesnt have an eraser it has something more useful...

When you flip it around whatever tool you are using in ps it will stick to the tool. Hard to explain...if you flip it around to the eraser side, use the bucket tool and then flip it arounf again, it will go back to the tool you were using b4 you flipped it. So you can use the brush and then flip it around it will change to the eraser and it will change the size of the it and stuff. It rox.

I had a bamboo for a while. Not too great compared to most other tablets.

Wacom is too expensive for what it is.

The bamboo is OK for starters, but you'll need something better when you get more serious (Intous or Cintiq).

it's actually a pen-on-screen monitor. it doesn't work if you poke it with your finger like touchscreen monitors.

Maybe you should read a little bit of the topic before you go posting.
It's a tablet, you can hook it up to your computer and it makes things like drawing and editing easier.
