Don't really want to post the live version for now, but I have tested it extensively in every browser. And when you hover the links on the dock it moves up 10px.

I would love some harsh advice/comments/criticism.
And if you tell me what you do like, or if you like it, it wouldn't be the end of the world.

Obviously the black text is a watermark.

I think it looks pretty nice. The only thing I'm not really feelin is the purple used for the line because really, that purple doesn't look good on the wood, at least to me. I also think you should lower the glow some on the main title. Otherwise, I like it. Great job. thumbsup.gif

I actually think it looks nice and clean. I just hate, hate, hate, hate that purple. It just comes out of nowhere o: And if you are going to keep that thing going across, I would shorten its width. I don't think it looks that nice going across the whole page.
I'm not very fond of the "Joseph Cohen" text on the purple, either. I think it's the outer glow that you put on it? Mehbe.
Aaaand, idk if the little subtitles below each of your navis are really necessary o: It looks like you got bored and added it. If you're going to code it and all, maybe you could make some kind of supa cool drop down for each of them.

It's nice though. Gj.

I'm not feeling the purple either. Or how you have your name displayed, that just is..ugh. But everything else is fabulous.

Well I was considering just taking the purple, that goes across the back away. Maybe I will. Do you justnot like the bar or just not the purple? Does anyone have a hex color suggestion? For a different color or a different purple? And when I look at it, I also agree that the Joseph Cohen looks bad. I think id like to keep the Joseph Cohen but make a lot of changes. Hopefully Ill have a update withing the next few days.

Well actually, get rid of the purple and the bar all together and if for some reason you're still feeling for using a purple, you should try using a low opacity purplish color for rollover on your nav and maybe even a purplish color for the hovers on anchor links.

I didn't read another of the other replies so sorry if I repeat something(s).

Not feeling the purple or glow around "Joseph Cohen." And the unbolded font in your navigation looks a bit.. I dk. It just doesn't look pleasing to the eyes. Everything else looks nice though. thumbsup.gif

Ok well I will get rid of the purple bar going to the back, and the glow around the "Joseph Cohen" and instead I might give it a light gradient going from dark grey to black. And ill also play around with fonts. Im actually happy with the nav as it is though. Really I want to keep it simple. Im trying to think of what a person that is coming to this site would think, or someone who I gave a card, and most likely, people who dont know crap about computers or the internet.

Take the glow off, it does not fit with the whole layout. Since the layout gives a professional and clean feel, the glow totally destroys it. Other than the glow and the purple, it's good.

I think you should get rid of the bottom text in the nav too.

Should I still keep the bar that has the words joseph cohen on it, or hsould i get rid of that to? And should i change the color to, anoter color of the rainbow, or should I go greyscale. And I took the glow away but now it hard to see the black words on the purple. I think ill chnage the purple to a blue, or a light greyish blue.

O and im getting rid of the words beneath, on the links.

When im done ill post a live preview.

I think you should just get rid of the bar and change the glow on the "Joseph Cohen" text to a drop shadow. Then, if you still want to use a color or something, try using a color for rollovers on your dock and/or your anchor links as well.
