I just came home from my first year at college for the summer. I did really well and my parents didn't help me financially but with a $2500 LOAN. My parents have always been really strict and made me take my sisters on dates with my boyfriend. I always found ways around it before or had to take them, but upon returning from college and experiencing the freedom I've realized how unreasonable it is. I've been with my boyfriend for 2 years on and off, its about a year and a half total, and they still want me to take my little sisters on dates with him. Is it reasonable? What should I do? They say that as long as I live under their roof I need to abide by their rules, but what they're asking for isn't reasonable. I should be arguing about curfew not chaperones at this age.
