Okay, so we all know what viral marketing is... spreading an idea, product, or concept in a way that people pick it up and share it themselves, thus expontentially distributing the thought or idea.

So how can you really do that, besides just posting your idea randomly in a well presented way? Surely there is a better way than just sharing it on your myspace, xanga or facebook account.

I'm trying to be viral with this entry:

(You can see how viral you are if you scroll down to the cluster map)
And I want to really hit the mark. People say that Shephred Fairey, the designer of the Obama Hope poster, is the master of viral design, and he does it in print and not online. Talk about awesome... people taking up a print design and sharing it. That's not so easy.

So do you have any tips about viral marketing? I have yet to take my marketing classes at college, and I'd like to jumpstart some of my skills.
