I'm currently reading a book for Anthropology on mail-order brides and transnational relationships, and I was wondering how many of you would ever marry someone you met on the internet?
Why or why not? |

Not without meeting them in person first.
No matter what people say, the internet really only shows part of who a person is. People can be one way online and turn out to be different in person. If I like someone I know on the internet, meet them and like them in person as well, then all's good. |

Eh... I personally never cared for finding women on the internet. I find it quite weird.. to have some sort of online relationship. I'd much rather speak to someone face to face and see their reactions / body language when we communicate.
Not only that, but... take a look outside. There's thousands of women everywhere o.O;; |

i believe u can find love anywhere. but i'd have to really REALLY love them to marry them, cuz the explanation of how we met would be quite an embarrassment to me. but if i really REALLY love them, they'd be worth it.

^ There's so much more to a relationship than love.
I'm gonna have to agree with JC and Mel. I'm not going to marry someone I've never seen face to face. I admit, there's been some individuals I've met online that I know better than some friends I've known since I was 7, but I still wouldn't know if the person is actually all they're cut out to be. |
