I used it once and it's almost exactly like Paint Shop Pro. It may take a little more work, but you can pretty much do everything you can do with CS4.

There's no pen tool. Great for beginners, but get the real thing if you're serious.

It's ok. Like Kristina mentioned, it's fairly limited but you can do some basic editing tasks using Elements.

Yeah, it's somewhat good but it should probally be used for beginners. If you were thinking of making more than just a couple edits, you should get Ps CS4 or PSP.

If you are gonna get photoshop you have to get cs3 or cs4. I had photoshop elements and I found that gimp which is free is more useful. There is no curve tool or pen tool in elements! Its very frustrating.

Nooo?

Not unless you buy the whole suite? Photoshop does not come with Illustrator...

Nope. Because when I was in school they were using Adobe Photoshop CS & Adobe Illustrator CS and they were two separate programs.

Plus, they'd have to be two separate programs. They both have such different capabilities that it would take 100000000000 years for that program to load if they were combined.

My mistake. I have never used any cs* so I didnt know there were any differences. I just guess that the latest one would be the best one.

I think you're talking about Imageready ._.
Imageready is awesome for me - the main reason I usually use CS2 now
