Alright, I've tried to think up some ideas and I had one. Not sure if it turned out too good but I still sort of like it. *sigh* And just in case, the reason I'm using that gray in the main area is because the smilies on my blog only 'work' or 'look good' when they have like a white/gray-ish background.

Haha it's a very cute idea. I like it. But I think you should either make the writing gray, because you have a pencil, or turn the pencil into a pen.

I like this one a lot more that the other one. But you should do a different effect one the stuff below the header. Also I think you are better of finding a handwritten font that doing it your self.

Like the pencil and paper? Well, I should also say that I'm going to make a flash banner in about 3/4 of that space and the rest will be the navigation. Also, I'll look into searching up some fonts. it looks really blurry for some reason. did you resize it? I think the font on the note should be bolder.. it looks blurry, too >.<
I love the idea. I think you should stick with it. // I think you should shade the pencil. It looks really flat. |

Ok, I updated the font. I also played around with the warp of the paper as well. I tried a bit of shading on the pencil but not sure if it's noticable. Oh, and I tried a different effect on the sub-header.

I think it looks a lot better now. :D The notebook paper definitely looks better.

I actually think I like the first one better. The white stuff is...eh.
This is definately better than the other layouts you've been posting. I think the shadow is a little to heavy, but other than that, it's nice. |
