I cant download PDF's from my laptop
 i dont know whats wrong, i have a PDF reading program, but when i click on a .pdf link, my browser makes a sound (error sound) and it takes me to an about:blank, any help? ;]

I have adobe reader 8, but I tried opening the PDF on the same page and not a new tab, but it dosent work

^ Why don't you right-click + save the PDF and view it offline?

I used to have issues with PDF files on my laptop.
What operating system are you using? Vista home premium. |

I've never had issues with PDF files on XP. Are you sure Adobe Reader is installed correctly?
And version of XP? I've only used XP professional. And what service pack? |

it should Work if you Click and Drag the Link of the .pdf file to your Desktop...

Uninstall acrobat reader and re install that should work since your getting default settings incase you messed with yours.
