I right clicked my computer opened the computer name tab and clicked change name and successfully changed it to CohenComputer but for some reason when I open cmd it shows the original name!

How do i fix it?

I don't see it... try opening the command prompt and typing: ping <your computername here>

If all packets where successfully received then your name is in place.

Look. It says full computer name: CohenComputer but in cmd it says Music Box. That was the old user name but it didn't change in cmd.Edit: and like the address of stuff is like C:\Documents and Settings\Music Box\My Documents But it should be C:\Documents and Settings\CohenComputer\My Documents Right?
Another edit:
It didnt affect the drives thomas. It just isnt changing the name in cmd.

No, that's the folder name. Not the computer name. The folders name does not change with the name of the computer. They aren't related.

wait you said music box was the USER name. You changed the computer name. Your computer name shouldn't affect your command prompt anyways...
