I have a question, well last night I was playing Counter-Strike and it was for a bet, so well I hacked , then the guy had a video of me hacking. After this he started to hack in to my computer, how can people do this stuff, and is it illigal?,and if it is, who can i tell?

 But why did you hack in the first place..? and how exactly did he taped that..? I don't know much..

Yes it is illegal and yes you have to go to the police station and they will have to contact his local police....but only if you have his IP address with out that there is nothing you can really do

He is asking if anyone knows how to hack...Also Sal explain the whole story in here about how he knew what you were typing and stuff. Also for him to get so upset over a game is ridiculous. a bet? What are you going to bet for? Money? Is one of you going to send money in the mail... I doubt it... he shouldint have got so mad...

hacking is purely 100 illegal go to your ISP rather then the police, it'll take longer for the police since they lack the necessary resources to track what happen.

Bad Karma, you shouldn't have hacked CS.
Anyways, that game's like super easy. What's with the hacks yo? I suppose you could report it to someone, but they wont view it as that big of a deal. Cyber crime is really more for like hacked companies and such. |

how do you install a key logger? Do you know the programs that are being typed in? such as to type a password on AIM?

Key loggers could be downloaded onto your computer from the internet, or it might be sent to you as an attachment to an email. Most firewalls should be able to catch these things, but once it is on your computer, depending on the keylogger, everything you type will be sent to the guy who sent it, most likely via email unless he has a direct connection to your comp. |

Just as a FYI there are many programs that allow you to record video, one of which is Fraps which also shows your Frames per second. One question though, how do you know he's hacking your computer? What symptoms do you have? Did he merely say he's hacking it to try and scare you? |
