So I seent her on GMA this morning and she blew that shit up. She's a phenomenal singer. If anyone can revive American R&B, it's her. Her music videos are shitty though. Hmph.

"Need U Bad": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHV5PyPiFjg

"Bust Your Windows": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TK9SPYBd-dU

"Lions, Tigers, and Bears" (amazing song): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=buhdtXAgMNE

I must say that the Lauryn Hill comparisons are a bit much right now.

I don't like the Lauryn Hill comparisons either. Just because she put out the one song ("Need U Bad") that has a reggae influence like Lauryn would've used. Jazmine is a much better singer, IMO.

If I were Jazmine I would be kind of offended, honestly. Lauryn put out the one great album, went crazy, and started getting on some pretentious folk shit (yeah, I said it). I'd want to avoid that at all costs and be ticked if someone said that.

^ I love Miseducation, don't get me wrong, but I don't think making one great album means that people have to kiss your ass until the end of time. I don't romanticize Lauryn Hill.
