Its the latest windows thing after vista. You can download the free beta right now.
Only to the first 2.5 million people.
And it stops working on august 1st.
It to find bugs. You should try it out.

Does it do anything bad, like delete some of the Programs or Documents that you have on your PC right now?

Well its a whole new operating system. It deletes everything.
If you want to try it you need to try it on an old test computer and back up all your files. You can do a duel boot( run whatever your running now as well as windows 7) but tat is a little complicated.

I burnt it but I found out that my test computer cant read dvd's! I was so bummed!
O and please dont do it unless you have a tst computer or one you dont use or something! Things often go wrong! If you have vista one it hits august 1st you will be stuck with a computer with no operating system! So make sure you have a copy of the opersating system your using now.
And make sure you have a dvd/writer/reader like ^ said.

Why? Cause you dont have a dvd reader? And you may want to learn about installing oter operating systems first. I think you should still download it though cause 2.5 mill ppl may download soon.

I have the .iso if anyone needs one.

But you need to have the product key for it to work.
And it will only allow three computers with the same download or whatever.

Its pretty crazy I have the iso file for
windows 7
DSL linux
ubuntu
puppy linux
linux mint
zenwalk

My fave heavy distro is linux mint my fave lighter distro is zenwalk and my fave really light distro that you dont even install is puppy linux.

I havent tried fluxbox yet.

No. You have to do use a disk.
Unless your talking about setting bios to make it boot from hard drive.

I got the leak a month and a half before beta was released.

It sucks massive balls, but I didn't expect any better from Microsoft.

Edit:

Yet another edit:

CPU is the acronym you're looking for. And that still wouldn't be correct.

Ya it's literally Ubuntu + Compiz. Except with the Windows Menu.

A C.P.U. is another term for Processor. Central Processing Unit. Which is the brains of the Computer.

There's no such term as CP for a Computer. It's PC, which is, "Personal Computer".

Which is why I said it still wouldn't be correct. It's a fairly common mistake to call a computer a CPU.

I was read the new features of Windows 7. It's like a non-annoying version of Vista. I hated all the features though. I like my XP.

Vista isn't any less annoying than XP. It's just a matter of preference.

Windows 7 is a buggier, reskinned vista.

Not necessarily, Microsoft admitted that Windows 7 is supposed to be the Windows Vista. Windows 7 is much lighter, doesn't take as much processing power and as much memory to run it, and it has all the neat features that Vista should have had. But ya of course it's buggy, it's still in beta format.

The only thing that really screws up Vista the interface. I have a plugin that allows use of KDE 4 with Vista. It speeds it up a good bit.
