i made this layout and had everything right where i wanted it, how i wanted it and so on...and then i started my little cross browser test.... everything works fine in firefox, and chrome, and then when i loaded it in ie7...i get...well...and very ugly black pixel affect around the edges of my png.

right now it sitting there wadding up my myspace so that i could have a live preview.... ugly blackness

and thoughts...i tried cleaning up the image...but it remains. i don't know what else to do at this point. beside curse at explorer. alot.

any thoughts would be helpful....

I'm not sure how to help you. You see, IE7 is dumb - it doesn't recognize transparencies well.

I suggest making a banner that isn't transparent and contains the tan and green background so that it looks seemless and is totally browser compatible.
