Does anyone know the standard resolution for a CD cover, well package?
I know print is usually 300, but when I go to the print set-up it's huge. . .and I'm scared to print 'cause I'm using alot of black, and don't want to use all my ink.

300 dpi for any full colour print of anything, always. If you want it to be of high quality.

266 for grayscale.

600-1000 for line art.

It's supposed to look huge, but you should make sure your size is correct...I mean if you already made your guidelines and measured it and your canvas size is correct, then you shouldn't have to worry.
