Don't get me wrong, I looove alcohol, but I just don't see the need to get drunk and "pregame" before everything.
One of my good friends went to see Vampire Weekend today and she drank so much in so little time she puked before she even left for the concert. Idk, man.

i feel yo pain
 i know people who do this and i never want to go do anything with them because of it. i don't really drink anymore, and if i do it's just like drinking a beer, not getting drunk. so it ends up them being really really annoying and "funny" and me just standing there like  the whole time. |

I might get raped [NO JOKE] if I drank before going out to anything, especially without my boyfriend. Last time I got so wasted at a party but my bf kind of peer pressured me to drink, since he's never seen me shitfaced before, lol. So yea apparently I was very "loose" and stuff. I'm scared what might happen to me since I can't control myself. So no more drinking for this

I know a guy who swigs alcohol in his Econ tutorial on Friday to prep himself for parties later on that night. Dude. Could you alcoholize yourself outside of class?!

I lived in Ireland for a while and that was pretty much every person I met (no joke). They were incapable of having fun without either getting shitfaced or having sex with a random person by the end of the night..

I think it's dumb to drink that much before shows and stuff. The last time I saw Of Montreal there were so many (blatantly underage) people who were already waaaay too drunk before the show. A girl near me was causing trouble, and then they figured out she was underage too, so she got kicked out. If you're going to drink to where you can't remember or will miss parts of the show, that's stupid. Of course, I do plan to pregame the next time I see them...but definitely not in excess. |

I used to have a superhuman friend with a ridiculous party routine. Before a party, he smokes up at least a 20. When he gets to the party, he starts with beer, and then has a shot competition. After the shots, he drinks more beer to 'bring himself down,' and then he follows that with more smoking and hard liquor.
I've never seen someone consume so much vodka and not die, and I have never seen him sober in my life. Its pretty scary. |
