Hopefully this works. I want to start this as a topic where the guys of cb can kind of give advice on certain things or tips on certain things. I like going to the askmen.com website, and I see no reason why we can't have one of those tips like spaces on here. Examples of this include:

Tung telling people how lemons can make your pits not smell

Brandon giving advice on what cut you may want for a certain suit

JC telling people what he thinks is a good dish to make

Reidar giving good advice on working out and what not

Things of that nature and all are allowed to input their opinions, tips, etc.

I thought of this because you have guys like Tung and Brandon who are really good with fashion and people like JC who is good with the arts and Juna with photog and Steven with being white ha ha and KC with being asian and what not. So start posting and let's see where this takes us. Just one rule....YOU MUST BE 18 or older to give advice in this topic. Juna is the lone exception.

^ I'd buy a suit. You can always get it tailored once you've gotten to an ideal weight.

Truth, but idk any tailors in my area. I wonder what I would have to look for in a good tailor.

Your closest dry cleaners should have tailoring services. Or wherever you buy the suit, they should have tailoring, too.

Edit: Ask Men, "How To Find a Tailor" http://www.askmen.com/fashion/fashiontip_2...ion_advice.html

This is why I love you so haha! I sometimes feel so stupid not knowing these things at my age.

Edit: Yea...I am pretty sure that Jos. A Bank has a tailor service....that is the place that I would get my suits from.

Silver, for a chronograph watch. Gold for a rolex. ^_^

silver is subtle, and blends with any colors esp. black and white, gold is just better if you want something that's eye-popping. I don't wear a lot of gold. If I do, it may just be a neck-chain.

For those of you that wear suits...should I get my suit side vented if it doesn't have any vents at all?

^yes imo, vented is way more comfortable, especially if you're wearing the jacket on an everyday basis and sitting down/moving around a lot. did you think about center vented vs side vented

I thought about center vs. side and I tend to like side a lot more than center. To me center seems to be a bit more of a classic suit, and I want to save that for some of my more pricey suit purchases in the upcoming months.

Here is a new question:

What do you guys think about men wearing hunter boots?

lmao so I got one of my suits out of the cleaners today and I am taking my other one to get vented next week! My first visit to a tailor. I have looked at askmen.com for a guide as to what I should look for, and the tailor has gotten all positive reviews. Anything else I should ask for?

Does photography epitomize the essence of masculinity? Of course not, but it goes well beyond that. Photography is an art that can allow one to capture a moment in time.
