Don't tell me to google it. I tried googling, but unfortunately, I don't speak or really understand anything computer and don't really understand what I should do.

I have an HP Pavilion Tablet tx1000 and it's got a built-in wireless that you turn on by moving the little knob to the right. The light is orange when it's off and blue when it's on.

It was working earlier today when I was at the library, but then I went to class, and suddenly, the wireless just wouldn't turn on :(

So... I rebooted my computer and for the first time in my life, got a white screen for about four minutes after I got the "Welcome" screen. After the white screen, my desktop and everything was functional, but the wireless still wouldn't turn on.

My computer's telling me that there's something wrong with the network adapter and something about downloading drivers, but I'm sort of stupid when it comes to computers.

My friend who has the same exact computer told me that when her computer's wireless stopped working and she started getting the white screen, her computer started freaking out and she had to get it fixed.

What do I do? (give it to me in layman's terms, plz)

If I can't figure this out by tomorrow, I'll probably go to CUIT and tell them to look at it. sad.gif

Yeah the same thing happened to me a while back. I have an HP dv9000 & the light would always be orange even though it was supposed to be blue. Thank God I bought a warranty thing from Fry's Electronics or I would've been screwed too since my HP one already expired.

I looked it up while I had one of those replacement laptops...apparently there was a recall or something about the driver & they said that if it was happening to you that you were able to send in your laptop & get it fixed even if your warranty expired. Too bad it was during when I was getting it repaired. stubborn.gif
