Does anyone know where i can get a free .GIF creator that doesn't need PS?
I've been looking for one, and i found a couple but there really time wasting, like take to long etc. If you could give me any programs that would be amazing!

There's multiple sites. But they are poor quality, fireworks for adobe, imageready and photoshop programs are best.
As far as online no sites are good enough to mention. I'd just do a trial for fireworks on adobe.com...
it's not expensive if you ever spring for it, and it works well.

Try Jasc animation shop, it's not free but it's cheap as hell.

I used to use UnFREEz back when I didn't have IR. It's a .gif animator - you save all the frames as individual .gif files, then drag them into the window, set the delay time between each frame, set the loop option, then save it. It's really easy to use, but it's kind of annoying because there's no "preview" option, plus you have to save each frame as an individual file, so if you want more complex animations it's kind of a pain to use.

I use Jasc Animation Shop.
It's crazy easy to use, and you can do pretty much anything with it.
If you want to try it out, there's a free 30-day trial available on it's site.

Most of the time I'll make the image in Photoshop, then open it in IR and animate it there. It's easier that way. How to use it depends on the type of animation you want to do. Basically, if you go windows>>animation, you get the animation pallette, which basically lets you edit every frame in an animation. It also lets you set the time between each frame, etc.

What kind of animation do you want to do? Here are some tutorials that cover most everything:
movie 1
move 2
simple animation using tween
color animation

Those probably cover all the techniques/tools I know for animating stuff in IR.
