well a friend of mine wants me to edit there senior pics.

ive removed the blemishes, smoothed out the skin etc etc, but it needs more.

what are some techniques that photographers use.

do you have any ideas yourself?

It would help to see what you've already done so far, along with the original.

I think it would be better if you posted the images in their original size since it's hard to tell what needs to be retouched & what doesn't.

I thumbed the pictures for you because they were stretching the boards. wink.gif

For the first retouch you can so tell you tried to redo it. What tool did you use? Also if you took away some of the hairs on her face, I would have done all of them because it just looks weird around the strand of hair you did leave. As for the rest of the pictures, if she wants them to be retouched only do minimal editing because there really isn't much to retouch. The last one might require a bit more editing. So yeah. thumbsup.gif

You used the Healing Brush? Hmm... try zooming in more so your editing isn't so obvious. As for the strands, I'd take all of them out because her skin looks weird here, like where it's surrounding the strand:

LOL no not her boobs. I meant her face/skin. But then again it may be because of the low image quality since Photobucket compresses images.

DP?

The is a bit of smudgyness around that one big strand of hair, the other ones are more or less just simple lighting and maybe some light skin retouching. Kudos for not making her face look like plastic. :]
