Some simple Wordpress theme customization, Need help making a few slight changes to the default kubrick theme. Options

Hi.

This is my first time posting here. I found this forum through a google search and signed up, but I think I might be in the wrong forum because most of what's here is really, really advanced for me. My apologies in advance if I'm breaking any rules or cluttering up the forum.

I just need two bits of help with slightly altering the default Kubrick Theme that comes with Wordpress. I need to:

1. Alter the height of the header image (make it taller)

and,

2. Change it from an image to a flash file (.swf).

I'm pretty sure that both of these things are possible, I just don't know what bit (or bits) of code to edit. The included theme editor is just a bit too advanced for my knowledge of code.

If anyone could help me out here, even if this isn't the most appropriate forum to ask for help, I would greatly appriciate it. If I am doing anything wrong, will I get an email if the thread is deleted?
