I was looking up statistics for createblog just now on alexa and for some reason thought of createblog's old rival forum, blogring. Createblog now is getting considerably more traffic (according to alexa), so it made me wonder.
Does anyone know what happened to blogring? And were any of you blogring members? |

It just kind of died. It's still there. A couple of the secret societies are still visited occasionally. I was active for a little while, as it was on its way out, so I check into my old SS every once in a while to see what's going on with people.

Blogring fell victim to a suicide bombing in Basrah, Iraq. The damage was catastrophic.

The only time I was ever on blogring was on the selurbc account to check things out. It was always pretty lame.

holy shit. Yeah, I remember when blogring use to spam us like crazy and it was such a lame rivalry. Anyone remember when their layout was like Xanga? or is it still like that?! lolol And then, Mindy Zhang got so much shit cause everyone thought she was related to the the michael zhang of BR. |
