there's this annoying neighbor, we're 18, he blasts rap music at 5AM right next to my wall. so i blast rock music around the same time every other day, show him what real music is.

FAIL. No one else is passing judgment on rock music. Bad music is bad music, no matter what genre it is. Get lost, gothosaurus.

50 cent is just stupid and lil' wayne makes me laugh. For some reason I like his voice, but the things that come out of his mouth are astounding. Most times in which they don't even make sense or even relate to the song. He is coming to concert in my area and I wouldn't pay a dime to go see him.

How is 50 cent stupid? 50 cent is a better businessman than rapper. There is hardly no money in rap nowadays. Like I said in another thread, he has all types of ventures including a video game. He doesn't have to make another CD and will still make more than any rapper whose name is not Diddy or JayZ. And 50 cent is the stupid one? I beg to differ.

Then man patented 'G-Unot,' and made money off of being insulted.

LL Cool J: He's in danger of ruining his legacy as a pioneer of hiphop. He was 17 when he dropped 'Rock the Bells.' He once had a rep for crushing rap battles in Queens. Most cats in the game right now don't even know how to spell freestyle, much less do it. His new shit is wack, but if it gets numbers, it gets numbers.

As an artist (producers included), you pursue hiphop for one of two reasons; to make money or to produce art. Rarely, do the two coincide these days.

sidenote - In order to be well informed on hiphop and her legacy, you need to know the ins, outs and the history. Otherwise, half-assed responses based on biased opinions will get shat on like a white car under a tree.
