Ugh, what am I doing wrong? Options

Using a code from a pre-existing layout, but I've changed the background image. The problems are that 1) I can't seem to get the myspace toolbar to completely go away, and 2) I can't get the link for comments to work.

I'll admit, yes, I am CSS/HTML retarded, but I know enough to usually get around that; I mainly know how to make things pretty, that's about it. I'm totally stumped right now, though.

Why yes, I did make the images for this layout. Quite spiffy, yes? Please excuse the mess, I'm still trying to get everything coded right. Comments are currently disabled because of that reason (not because I don't want them, but because I can't get the code to work).<br /><br />
Anyway, what can I say about myself? I'm a twenty-two year old woman who lives, breathes and sleeps music. I'm a singer and violinist (although my poor Adrienne has been feeling neglected lately) going to the school of music at GRCC, hoping to transfer to Western Michigan sometime in the next year. I love to read, listen to people talk, write, play video games when I can find the time, meet new people, travel--although I haven't had the means to do so lately--and generally be a cute, spunky busy-body. I'm very much a child at heart; I'll probably say I believe in Santa until the day I die, despite the fact that the surprise has been spoiled for me; I cry at the most ridiculous movies; I still love watching cartoons on Saturday mornings with a bowl of cereal and my favorite pair of pajamas on; and I take joy in every day that I possibly can, because life is far too short to sit around a mope about the little things.

My dreams, although some seem a little strange, are either to get into radio or voice-over work, or do the singing tracks for a Disney movie (what can I say, I'm a Disney girl). Singing on Broadway would be nice, too. I also wanted to be a Muppeteer when I was a kid, and I still haven't quite given up that dream either, as dumb as it sounds.<br /> <br />
