What do you think of my site layout?

My site

On a scale from 1-10 with 10 being the best and 1 being the worst. What is your rating?
I give it an 8, it's not my best work, but it looks GREAT!
It's my first blog site layout and it's not on all of my pages yet.

What do you think? What is your rating?
1-10 please!

thanks

^u so hawsh :3

Ehhmm. I'd give it a 3? It could have been worse o:
I agree with basically everything that Christy said. And to add to what Christy said about the banner, I also think that you should have done something with the text. You just threw it on there, not very impressive.

I would look through some other layouts so you can see what other people do and learn from that. Hope you give it another go C:

I'm going to give it two ratings, 1 for the header and 4 for the coding.

The header is bad and very boring. The blend is okay but I would've did something different with it, like added textures and colors. Change the font, dafont.com has great fonts.

The coding isn't good. It needs to match the header better. Honestly the layout would look better without the header. The colors don't match well either. Like the others said make the two tables the same width as the header and get rid of the scroll bars.

I dont like it at all.
There looks like no effort has been put in whatsoever on the picture on top. It just looks like you grabbed a photo off the internet, put a gradient on top, faded it a little and called it yours. Not to mention the text is really bland and looks like its just plopped on. Overall The picture looks like it was done in about 2 minutes with no effort at all.

The boxes dont match the site at all, you could have atleast attempt to match it with the picture but it just looks like you grabbed the box codes from another side and just coded them on your site and called it good.

Overall i give it a 1, the site isnt good, nothing matches at im someone who would probably just look at it and exit out right away.

Sorry for the harshness, but its better to be honest then to lie.

Umm... 3. The alignment is weird, it's very simple, and the blend is very unattractive.

I give it a 4. The banner image is way, way oversoftened. Because of that, the "Brenda Song" text looks too dark. You want Brenda to be the focus of the banner, not her name. Besides softening the image, you only blended two images together very simply; no real editing was done.

The bright green header underlines are too bright to match the banner image's green; likewise for the blue underlines. The links' font size is too small compared to the rest of the layout's main text font size. If you're going to use a sans-serif font for your content, don't make it so big. The total width of the navigation module and content area should not be wider than the banner.

If you want suggestions, read them below or turn around now. (LOL, I sound like the haunted house sign)

I give it a 4.
I believe that the pictures in my opinion are too boring. The light compastion is too bright and the green tables are pretty ugly and just waste space. You could have gone with a better font and use a little more brushes!
