how do you reduce the colors on a picture in photoshop?
is there anywhere that lists the amount of colors and you can just edit the number to be like 3 colors total instead of 180 or something like that? people keep telling me to use hue and saturation but i don't get that...i want to make something like 4or 5 colors total. YA DIG??? |

Maybe posterize?
Image-> Adjustment -> Posterize. Anything under 5 gives me only a few colours. I have no idea if this is what you're looking for though. |

^ hmmm, that'll probably work.
i don't really know what i'm looking for either, on photoshop at least. i just know before i had photoshop i had some piece of junk editor and it had a "reduce colors" option to pick how many colors i wanted total. |
