hm, has anyone tried this? it seems to be sorta cool, but at the same time... what if you type "hey i think you're an a-hole" then change your mind and type out "lol"? |

Great idea. Instead of reading a completed, cohesive sentence, I get a reason to reduce productivity from multitasking so I can glue my eyes to the IM window and see each letter gradually formulate into a word. That definitely adds a "conversational flow", since I verbally spell out the letters of every word like a ****-chucking ape when I speak to somebody.
