Well I find it funny. That's the fun in it.
And I dunno why my xanga is still up there seeing as it hasn't been updated in years. Even if if I do blog again, I'd probably use it. All these new fangled blogs these kids are using these days. Plus saying "I'm going to update my 'Zanga.'" is a hell of a lot cooler than saying "I'm going to go update my tumblr." Wtf? Tumbler? Do you work in construction or something? |

LOL i just say i tumbled. xanga got too complicating for me. i know i don't read other blogs and i don't really write, so it's easier for me to spam shit all over tumblr.

Well to be fair I've never used Tumblr. I'll probably check it eventually. It still doesn't hold that nostalgia Xanga has. Xanga's what started it all for me. Well, that and Expage. LOL. I'm talking when I was like 9 years old.

Haha, oh middle school expages. Then everyone got a xanga in high school, and that's what got me on cB. Goddamn that was a long time ago. Expage doesn't even exist anymore, and that makes me kind of sad. But yeah, xanga is way too done to be revived. It's nostalgic, but not really in a good way at this point.

Although, I used to hate it at times because half the cool HTML codes never worked on Expage. It was so simple though. That was the beauty in it. |

No, expage was simply awful but it is what got me into trying to learn html and move to sites that sucked ever so slightly less (like geocities- ooooh). But did totally did want to go revisit some expages...truly the end of an era.

Yes, it was, but if a 9 year old could make pages on it, it couldn't have been complicated by any means. I never liked Geocities. Mostly because of those annoying ads that popped up everywhere and scrolled down with the page. I went to Angelfire for a long time, which sucked also, but I got accustomed to it quick.
All this talk makes me want to make a website! I have no idea what about, but I'd be fun. I always loved putting codes together and creating something cool. |

maybe it'd look less messy if tumblr did get on commenting thing. besides the fact that i don't really like comments, disqus makes it look a little messy.

I was being totally sarcastic about Geocities. can you guys get a room already, your taking up like the entire 2nd page of this magnificent topic At least we're keeping it bumped. None of use are going to get anymore followers if this topic is 8 pages back or something. Btw, I just noticed there's a list of themes under the "explore" tab. It's pretty nice; I was bored of the main ones, and this way I don't have to keep following every sample theme I might want to use. And I like comments enabled. I'm following someone who likes to reblog people who say "I feel sick" and add their brilliant insight like "I'm sorry :(" ....yeah, I don't need that shit on my dashboard. |

I was being totally sarcastic about Geocities. I know. :) I guess I'll sign up and see what the buzz is about. I have nothing better to do at the moment. Does anyone know if there's an iPhone app? If I could take pics and instantly post and write a blog, than this is the site for me. |
