Purple (a plum shade) to balance out the masculinity of grey jeans.

...what's wrong with brown and grey? huh.gif

I hate these so-called fashion rules where you can't pair one colour with another. The classic no-no is black and brown. Black and brown can look hot together. People need to get their head out of the box.

I have grey skinny jeans and all my grey shirts look repulsive with them. I think it just depends on what kind of grey it is.

Anything else would go. I personally think bright or dark colors look the best, though.

I have jeans like that. Colorful tops look great with them. Turquoise, magenta, teal, etc. Nice blazers look great with them too.

I agree, I think purple would look very cute with them.

Lime green, hot pink, orange. They all work with grey. I just think that purple and teal go with grey very well because I have a bias towards those two colours.

Grey. Is. A. Neutral. The only thing I could ever imagine not working with grey is probably grey itself, or maybe a warm grey with a cool grey-toned pair of jeans, or vice versa. Keep it within the same hue if you're going to do grey on grey.

Sometimes I like the monochromatic look though, and I'll keep everything I'm wearing black, grey, or white.

^ Yup. What I was trying to get at is that you should keep it within the same tone of grey, or better yet, the same exact shade. But I realize that's difficult.

not super with accessories but i think adding some in different colors would look good. i would wear the grey and thats it. so bland.

Instead of pairing them with more gray, you could wear bright colors to contrast the pants.
White would also work to keep the color combos simple.

anything with colour. don't wear neutrals with it or it'll look too masculine. but you can definitely dress them up with bright shirts and cardis and heels, or band tees and a pair of chucks.

If they're a darker gray like you said, I personally would put it with a sexy black top and a great pair of heels, and maybe some sparkly diamond earrings. Fashionable without trying too hard.
