ok I'm trying to move my site from Freewebs.com to a host that is hosting me.
light-flash.net to be exact.

I know the basics at using my FTP program.

I know how to log in & out, edit & add pages, and how to upload & download pages.
Other than that it is all foriegn language to me. haha!

I have edited my site with this layout by dreamgurl36 and all it is showing is codes on FF but on IE it only showes a green background and an edited scroll bar.

I don't know what I did wrong. I have tried other layouts, deleting it and re-uploading it, and anything else I could think of but it's not working.

It could be my internet connection but I don't know. Please help me! Thanks!

Another thing that I've notice about you code is that you php code is exposed.. the reason for that is because you are using a file extension that does not support php... To Solve That Problem Change Your File Extension from .html to .php

I don't really understand.

The only PHP code I have is cutenews and I thought that all I had to do is copy & paste the code.

if you're using any PHP code, the file extension needs to be .php

you're just putting cutenews on your home page, right? all you'll need to do is change the extension of index.html to index.php

oh yeah & make sure you save everything in utf-8. if you are editing it in notepad, you can change the type of encoding it is.
