div positioning for all browsers, div overlay help Options

Hi im new to designing div overlays I was wondering if anyone could look at my code and tell me why my divs positioning is diffrent on some browsers and some screens but never on mines? Some people say things are fit snug and in place but others say things dont show up right on there monitors. they'll go in the last parts of your code, for ".blog"

replace "left:0%;" with "left:50%;" and adjust the margins. almost exactly like you've done for ".slideshow", but you'll have to adjust the margins a little differently until it works.
